It is always important to do research. In guerilla marketing, it is just the same because you need to make sure you are targeting the correct consumers with your marketing. Research on your own by asking your consumers the questions you want the answers to. By listening to your customers, you can gain insight and the information is free! You can also pay for research, but your investment must be worth the return.
During your research to learn more about your consumers. The more you know the better. Peruse through the internet or visit your local library. Find the best search engines and the best books on money making. Also preparing a questionnaire for your consumers that asks key questions and learn who may be your competition.
Utilizing the internet to the best of its ability is another good way to tap into information. Locate websites of your competitors and look them over. Join chat rooms with like-minded consumers to learn about their likes and dislikes. Research should be ongoing because markets change. Continue to surf the internet, talk to consumers, and visit the library.
